THE DAY OF SCIENCE AT MSPU NAMED AFTER I.P.SHAMYAKIN

MSPU Council was held at the University on January 22, 2021. Tatsiana Paliyeva, the First Vice-

Rector, acting as a member of the managing board of the University, started the council and

summed up the results of the Research and innovative activity held at MSPU in 2020. Alongside with

the report, Tatsiana Paliyeva performed a good mission and delivered the grateful letters to MSPU

researchers.

It is important to mention that MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin is a large research, educational and

cultural center. It was accredited by the State committee for Science and Technologies of the

Republic of Belarus (the National Academy of Science of Belarus) and bears a status of a research

organization.

A wide range of scientific projects were implemented at the premises of the University. These

projects were supported by the Belarusian State Fund of the Fundamental Research and included

into the State programs of the scientific research.

The scientific projects conducted at the premises of MSPU are always practically oriented, because

the mission of the Belarusian science is to serve to the Belarusian people and make their life better.

Thus, the University signed several agreements on cooperation in the field of science with the

secondary educational establishments, agricultural and industrial enterprises to perform mutual

research projects.

1000 research articles, 7 monographs, 1 collection of research papers, 15 study guides, 10 articles

included into Scopus and Web of Science bases, 100 articles approved by the State Commission

for Academic Degrees and Titles were prepared by MSPU researchers in 2020.

Being guided by highly-qualified tutors, MSPU students prepared 18 scientific projects in different

fields. These projects were awarded with festive letters.

1 PhD thesis in Physics and Mathematics was defended by a MSPU researcher in 2020. 3 teachers

were awarded with the academic titles of associate professors.

6 International Research Affairs were held at MSPU in 2020. 4 MSPU teachers were awarded with

honorary certificates. Tatsiana Paliyeva delivered these certificates.

MSPU administration and Research and Science Center are happy to congratulate MSPU teachers,

researchers, PhD students, Master’s degree students and bachelor degree students on the Day of
