«FAMILY AND HEALTH»: MSPU STUDENTS MET A PSYCHOLOGIST

MSPU students met Tatsiana Garaevskaya, a psychologist, Mozyr Maternity Welfare Centre, who presented her report on the topic: «Abortion as a social and medical problem. History and tragic consequences of abortive and contraceptive way of thinking».
The students and the guest discussed ethical aspects of abortion. It was discovered that some people treated this problem as a moral issue, because it was closely connected with a human life, rights of a baby, a right of a woman to choose herself what to do with her body and not being pushed by other people. There are different attitudes to abortion in different countries among public officials and the society.
The students watched the movie «12 silent weeks» produced by Tatsiana Garaevskaya.
At the end of the meeting all the students got a lucky chance to ask any questions.
