RESEARCH-TO-PRACTICE SEMINAR “THE SPRING OF SPIRITUELITY”

Research-to-practice seminar “The spring of spirituality” was held at Philology Department on March 17, 2021. The seminar was devoted to the day of the orthodox book.
The day of the orthodox book is the festive day for the Belarusian Orthodox Church. This fest is devoted to the first book which was printed in the Rus i.e. “The Apostolus” by Ivan Fedorov (14.03.1564). MSPU students, Philology teachers and the representatives of the Turov Episcopate participated in the event. The following reports were discussed: “Bible as a book about the relations between a person and a God”, “the New Testament as The ABC of Faith”, “Psalter as a poetic and musical book of the Orthodox people”, “Catechism as the study of faith, hope and love”.
Participation in the seminar helped the students to get acquainted with the world of faith, spiritual achievement of personhood and vivid memory of the past.
