XI International Research to Practice Conference was held at MSPU named after
I.P. Shamyakin on November 18, 2021. This conference was devoted to the 75 th anniversary of
Vasily Shur, Doctor of Philology, Professor. More than 30 doctors of sciences, scientists and young
researchers from 8 countries participated in the online conference. Much attention was paid to the
topical issues of Modern Philology, innovations in the language studies and methodology. The
perspectives for young researchers were discussed.
Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of Philology Department, presented the welcome speech of Mr Rector, who congratulated Vasily Shur on his birthday.
Everybody may say that Vasily Shur is a person who have achieved a lot and who have done a lot for Philology Department and MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
Galina Dashkevich, a Mozyr poetess, made a poem devoted to Vasily Shur. Ludmila Zhuravskaya refreshed her memories about her friendship and professional way she passed together with Vasily Shur.
