Gala concert dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Turkmenistan took place on the 28th of October. The students of the EI “MSPU named after I. P. Shamyakin”, the citizens of the Republic of Turkmen, honorably represented the culture of their country. The master of the ceremony acquainted visitors with the national symbols. It was noted that green color is of particular importance for the Turkmen. This is the color of the grass in the pastures and of the peace on the earth. It embodies the unity of time and symbolizes life. The students, the lectures and the staff of the University saw Turkmenistan in a new light: as a country of contrasts. After all, modern Turkmenistan is the abundance of deserts, oases, unique historical and cultural traditions and European metropolitan cities.
Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, is a modern European metropolis. In Persian “Ashgabat” means “the city of love". It is a lovely oasis, created by people among sands and mountains with love and care.
Fashion show of women's national costumes, songs, performed in Turkmen language and incendiary lezghinka made a particularly vivid impression on the visitors.
Song "White Russia", performed by Myronovych Julia and Nyyazovoy Enesh, became a final chord of the concert.
