Shamyakin, The Master of Sport of International Class in Rowing and Canoeing, The Participant of the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London, The Champion of the World and Europe, The Frequent Winner of the European Rowing and Canoeing Championships and the World Rowing and Canoeing Cups, The Winner of the XXVII Summer Universiade (Kazan, 2013)) on awarding a scholarship of the International University Sports Federation (FISU).

The FISU Scholarship Program was established to support and encourage young sportsmen-students. The scholarship is awarded to 2 girls and 1 boy. The selection is made of challengers from around the world who are supposed to be excellent sportsmen and brilliant students.
