On February 27 Welcome Day 2015 was held at Establishment of Education "Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin". More than 150 school and college graduates from Mozyr, Mozyr district, Narovlya district, Elsk district, Petrikov district , etc. visited the University and participated in an alternative guided tour "University Rainbow".

More than 150 school and college graduates from Mozyr, Mozyr district, Narovlya district, Elsk district, Petrikov district , etc. visited the University and participated in an alternative guided tour "University Rainbow".
The most interesting and catching “mini-performances” were arranged by Philology Department, Technology Department and Department of Preschool and Elementary Education. Interactive presentations were masterfully performed by students and teachers of Engineering and Pedagogics Department, Biology Department, Physical Education Department and Physics and Mathematics Department. The most prominent guides were Maria Baranova (Engineering and Pedagogics Department), Yanina Lazitskaya (Engineering and Pedagogics Department), Valentina Chizhevskaya (Philology Department). These young and talented students proved themselves to be well-organized, sociable and responsible members of student community. Deans of the departments gave precise, deep and informative answers to all the questions of prospective university students.
Representatives of Preschool and Elementary Education Department took part in University Entertainment Program “Students’ territory”, where our students showed how talented and creative they were.
