On April 16 – 17, 2015 1st stage of campaign “Message to Descendants” within the framework of the project “Children’s Ecological Movement of Mozyr Land” was conducted at School No.6 in Mozyr. The project was presented by Evgeny Mashkov, 4th year student, Biology Department. 4th year students of Biology Department and 6th – 11th form pupils were invited to the meeting.
On April 16 – 17, 2015 1st stage of campaign “Message to Descendants” within the framework of the project “Children’s Ecological Movement of Mozyr Land” was conducted at School No.6 in Mozyr. The project was presented by Evgeny Mashkov, 4th year student, Biology Department. 4th year students of Biology Department and 6th – 11th form pupils were invited to the meeting.
The aim of the campaign is to spark the interest of the students and pupils in ecology of the Motherland and to give an opportunity to compile a wish-list for the future generation.
Students and pupils should have written an essay which covered 3 main questions:
- Describe modern condition of ecological environment.
- How will nature look like in 25 years?
- Give useful pieces of advice to descendants on how to improve the condition of ecological environment.
The campaign generated great interest. Students and pupils did their best. All ecological essays would be put into the “time capsule”. This message to the descendants would be kept for 25 years underneath the memorial within the territory of School No.6 in Mozyr.
Who knows! It is possible to suppose the ideas mentioned in the essays will help to solve some ecological problems in the future!
