OPEN DEBATES: “ВЫБИРАЙ.BY!”

Under the aegis of Belarusian State Youth Union State Youth Project “Open Debates: “ВЫБИРАЙ.BY!” was started in Mozyr. The mission of the debates was to give young people a possibility to claim about their active position in life, find meaning in the development of Belarusian Youth Movement and mindset next generation’s formation.
The debates were held at the premises of Yanka Kupala High School, Mozyr. 4 teams-participants represented the following establishments of education: Yanka Kupala High School, Mozyr Region Lyceum, Mozyr State Professional College and Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin.

The participants disputed about modern technologies, bilingualism and financial incentive. The answers could be characterized as deep and informative statements ; creative thoughts and ideas were given birth. The participants showed how to prove viewpoints masterfully, give reasons for a subject matter, arrange the speech.
Yanka Kupala High School became the winner of the debates. All other participants were awarded by certificates of appreciation and keepsakes.
