On October 27, 2015 ceremonial event dedicated to Independence Day in Turkmenistan was held in MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
Cooperation agreement in the sphere of Education between Belarus and Turkmenistan was signed in 2008. In this behalf 177 students from Turkmenistan have been studying at MSPU; 14 students graduated from the university and successfully approved their diplomas of Higher education.
In 1991 Turkmenistan was proclaimed an independent and sovereign country. Since that time Turkmen has celebrated this bright event on October 27-28.
Students from Turkmenistan invoked their bretheren to celebrate the fest greatly and patriotically. National dances and songs about their beloved Motherland were presented. Sergey Schur, Pro-Rector for Academic Affairs, on behalf of University Administration, Academic Staff and the Belarusian Nation, congratulated students from Turkmenistan.
The fest could be characterized as a bright, colorful and memorable event which left an imprint on the souls of its participants, guests and facilitators.
Long live Turkmenistan!
