On September 29, 2016 workshop “Methods of Reflection at the English lesson” was held at the premises of Philology Department. 3rd and 5th year students, teachers from the Chair of English and English Teaching Methodology took part in the workshop as it aroused a keen interest.

As we all know contemporary teaching techniques are of great value and use; they have displaced traditional educational system. Today innovation in education is a multi-resourceful base and a XXIst cent. teacher isn’t treated as a professional when he or she doesn’t possess computer technologies.

According to the basic idea the workshop was arranged in order to show how interactive training developed communicative skills, how it helped to establish emotional contacts between pupils, how it solved educational problems because all the pupils collaborated and took into account their partners’ opinions.

In its turn interactive approaches evoked teachers to be creative and active, made them change the routine, develop professional and personal skills. Thus, while using these approaches a gifted teacher determines his opportunities and identifies them with the opportunities of students, which leads to more personalized training.
