"Student of the Year 2012"

Congratulations to the 5th-year student of the Language and Literature Department of Mozyr State Pedagogical University Vialina Alekseenko, the winner of the regional competition "Student of the Year-2012 ONLINE".
On October 25, 2012 on the basis of the Institution of Education “Belarusian State University of Transport» the regional stage of the national competition "Student of the Year-2012" was held, which was attended by 8 most intelligent, talented and creative students of Gomel region.
The main objectives of the popular student’s project are the support of creativity and socially significant activities of students, identifying leaders in the student community, developing effective forms of youth participation in public life, improving prestige of knowledge and promoting professions.
The participants were offered to take part in the following competitions: "Visiting card", "Debate: Pros and Cons," "Youth Project", "Creative number". During the competitive tests, the participants demonstrated masterly performance and capacity for creative impromptu, high erudition and ability to debate, and most importantly, the ability to work in teams.
Our student ‘s performance was recognized as the most brilliant by all members of the jury. Vialina Alekssenko is awarded with two diplomas for victory in the nominations: "The best visiting card" and " Student of the year online."
The Chancellor of Mozyr State Pedagogical University, Professor V.V. Valetov is awarded with the official commendation for help in organizing and conducting of the regional stage of the republican competition "Student of the Year 2012".
