Festival of Sacrifice at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin

On September 03, 2017 MSPU International students from Turkmenistan celebrated their national holiday - Kurban Bayram. Dishes from all sorts of food are usually served during this holy period. Within 3 days it is important for Muslim families to try offering’s meat and please the guests with roasted mutton ribs, soup made from mutton head and legs, rice, beans and vegetables.

At MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin the fest was celebrated on Day 3 and “the pleasures of the table” astonished everybody with great diversity. Maryem Karyagdyeva and Dovlet Klychev, the presenters of the fest, lectured on History and Traditions of Kurban Bayram and held a subject-matter quiz.
The festival of Sacrifice united all Turkmenian students and helped them to create the atmosphere of home.
