WORKSHOP “HOW TO ACQUAINT TEENAGERS WITH THEIR RIGHTS BY MEANS OF ADAPTED INFORMATION MEDIUM”

16-2-1

On November 15, 2017 Physics and Engineering Students attended a workshop “How to acquaint teenagers with their rights by means of adapted information medium” which was held at the premises of Vladimir Lenin Gomel Universal Library.

The main aim of the workshop was to inform graduate students. Much attention was paid to teenaged terror known as Cyber-bulling. Kaspersky Laboratory has been studying cyber-bulling and got to know that 26% of parents who participated in the interrogation hadn’t known their children were bullied; 58% of parents had to interfere into their children’s profiles in social nets and block them. 13% of teenagers said they had been bulled in real life (i.e. at secondary school, sport club, art school, etc.). It happened as a consequence of online-bulling.

This problem is topical. Much information is presented in Mass Media, however, parents and teachers have to be more conscious.
