SCIENCE AND METHODOLOGY SEMINAR “RENAISSANCE OF BELARUSIAN ARTS AND CRAFTS (IN THE SYSTEM OF ADDITIONAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH)”

   On March 21, 2019 science and methodology seminar “Renaissance of Belarusian arts and crafts (in the system of additional education of children and youth)” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin; chief organizer – Center for new techniques in Pedagogics (Chair of Pedagogics and Psychology). Representatives of establishments for additional education from Mozyr and Kalinkovichi, representatives of Mozyr Plant for Arts and Crafts participated in the affair.

 

 

The following reports were presented:

1)“Traditions of the Belarusians: a great way through many years” (Helen Astreyko, PhD in Pedagogics, Associate Professor);

2)“Development of arts and crafts in the Polessye” (N.A.Martinovich, a painter, Mozyr Plant for Arts and Crafts);

3)“Training of teachers who will work with the students of Technology and Biology department” (Elena Tihonova, PhD in Pedagogics, Associate Professor);

4)“School museum as a factor of students’ national self-awareness ” (A.Metelskaya, State educational establishment “Center of art for children and youth in Kalinkovichi”);

5)“Research and renaissance of cultural heritage of the Belarusians at art lessons” (A.Lozyuk, State Educational Establishment “Mozyr Center for art of children and youth”);

6)“Straw art as the Belarusian craft: History and Modernity” (N.A.Gorkusha, State educational establishment “Center of art for children and youth in Kalinkovichi”).

Irina Zhurlova, PhD in Pedagogics, Associate Professor, Head of the Chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, summed up the results of the seminar and expressed her deepest gratitude to all who participated in the affair.
