STATE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN "BELARUS AGAINST TOBACCO"

On May 31 – June 21, 2019 State awareness campaign “Belarus against tobacco” is being held in Gomel region. The motto of the campaign was defined as “Tobacco and healthy lungs”. Representatives of MSPU social support center in cooperation with the members of State establishment “Mozyr Regional Hygienic and Epidemiological Center” arranged this meeting.
Two informational platforms “Exchange cigarettes for vitamins” and “Lottery – May 31” was held as well. The main objective was to draw attention to healthy life style, harmful nature of smoking, awareness of smoking as harm to health. Much attention was paid to the thing that smoking was the main factor of Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease, cardiovascular morbidity, respiratory tract infections, cancer morbidity.
