On November 01, 2019, Zumrad Akhmadovna Fozilova, Senior lecturer, Department of General Pedagogy and Psychology, Navoi State Pedagogical Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan), conducted an international online lecture for the 3rd year students from the Department of Preschool and Elementary Education, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The online lecture on the topic "General characteristics of the teachers’ work style" was held in the form of a video-conference.
On November 01, 2019, Zumrad Akhmadovna Fozilova, Senior lecturer, Department of General Pedagogy and Psychology, Navoi State Pedagogical Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan), conducted an international online lecture for the 3rd year students from the Department of Preschool and Elementary Education, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The online lecture on the topic "General characteristics of the teachers’ work style" was held in the form of a video-conference.
1. The concept of the style of teaching activity.
2. General characteristics of teaching style.
3. Pedagogical activity and interrelation between style and character.
The following questions were addressed to the students of both universities:
- What is your role as a teacher? Under what circumstances are you going to speak to your students?
- Can I teach you how to develop a pedagogical talent?
- What is the difference between the activity style and the behavior style?
- When can we assume an authoritarian style of teaching?
- What do you consider unacceptable in the professional conduct and activities of a teacher?
The students answered the questions, commented on the most important characteristics of pedagogical activity, described the fundamental difference between the styles of pedagogical activity, analyzed the styles of activity of their school teachers.
At the end of the lecture, the participants noted that the importance and usefulness of online lecture was great; they expressed much gratitude to Zumrad Akhmadovna and to the representative of the departments of international communication, information technology and innovation activities, for the opportunity to learn more about the experience of training future teachers in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
