RESEARCH TO PRACTICE SEMINAR “BELARUSIAN PEOPLE, LET’S UNITE!”

On November 12, 2019 Research to practice seminar “Belarusian people, let’s unite” was held at the premises of Philology Department; chief organizer: Chair of History and Teaching Methodology. The seminar was devoted to the 80th anniversary of unity between the West Belarus and BSSR. The main objective of the seminar was to study History of Belarus; to discuss the unity of the West Belarus and BSSR. 1st – 3rd year students majoring in History and Social Sciences participated in the seminar.

The following reports were presented:
"Military and political campaign of 1939"
"Two sides of the whole: unity of the Belarusians into a country"
"Voices of the West Belarus"
"You are from the West, I am from the East!"
"It’s a long time since then"
All the participants came to the conclusion that the Belarusians had got the unity and it led to further consolidation, state formation and economic growth.
