What is the main objective of the students’ internship? The answer is to form personal and professional competencies of a teacher. Right now the 4^th year students are undertaking a 9-week internship at the premises of Secondary school in Kozenky (Mozyr district).

What should be done for the internship to be held successfully? The answer is to arrange everything in a proper way. Thus, Irina Gutsko, Yulia Ranchinskaya and Lubov Puzan, acting as the leaders of the internship, visited the school beforehand and talked about the details of the internship with the administration.

MSPU student assistants got acquainted with the administration of the school and the management system. Then the students met the form teachers and discussed the peculiarities of the internship. Much attention was paid to the documents the students would fill in: Form teacher plan, Register, course scheduling. The students were shown the technical equipment of the school. It was the most important thing because a modern lesson of a foreign language couldn’t be arranged well if there was no equipment.

Each day of the teaching internship was arranged in the best possible way. The students hold their own lessons, visited the lessons of their colleagues and then participated in the analysis discussions. Alongside with the lessons the students were to arrange an out-of-class activity (“Saint Valentine's Day fest”, “Tour around Small Motherland”, “Healthy life style is my passion”, “Smoking is killing us”, “How not to feel lonely and become more sociable”).

What should every school leaver know? What profession to choose! Right you are! Being motivated and having a wish to inspire the 10^th and 11^th form pupils, MSPU team arranged a career guidance workshop. The 4^th year students and MSPU teachers from Philology Department presented the advantages a bachelor degree program “Foreign languages (English, German)”. MSPU students spoke about a wide range of possibilities available for Philology students majoring in foreign languages: internships abroad, scientific projects, conferences, linguistic laboratories, academic contests.
