World Tuberculosis day is annually celebrated on March 24. The aim of this event is to inform more people about the disastrous results of tuberculosis for human health and to accumulate the tools for protection from tuberculosis. In 1882 Robert Koch discovered a bacteria-infecting agent for tuberculosis. Thanks to this discovery diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis was available for the doctors. A camomile is a symbol of the World Tuberculosis Day.
With due regard to the mentioned above, Natalia Prokofievaa and Natalia Miranovich, the representatives of Mozyr antitubercular specialized early treatment center, visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin and met the students. The doctors spoke about the meaning of tuberculosis, the history of the illness, the reasons why tuberculosis was dangerous, World Tuberculosis Day, world tuberculosis statistics and preventive measures.
