THE WEEK OF THE RUSSIAN WORD: OPENING CEREMONY

photoThe week of the Russian work was opened at Philology Department on November 15, 2021. Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of Philology Department, started the ceremony with the greeting speech. She paid much attention to a great significance of this event, because all the events included into the program would influence positively on the development of the professional qualities of the prospective philology teachers. She wished all the participants to enjoy this great educational campaign. Sergey Kurash, Head of the Russian Studies Center, presented the program of the events included in the Week of the Russian Word. Tatsiana Chechko, the Head of the Department of the Belarusian and Russian Philology, spoke about the creative spirit she felt. She said that this campaign was organized not only for the students and the teachers from MSPU Philology Faculty, but for Philology teachers from the local schools in Mozyr. The practical intercourse between the teachers and the students helped to develop better professional links and upgrade the level of professionalism of the both parties i.e. the teachers had a chance to see how their methodological ideas worked and the students could get a chance to see what methods were good to apply to when they prepared their lessons.

The first stage of the international contest of the creative works of the students started on November 15, 2021. The contest was devoted to the 220’s anniversary of Vladimir Dal. The contest was arranged by the educational establishment “Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin” (Republic of Belarus) and Penza State University (Russian Federation).

The following students majoring in “Russian and Russian Literature. Foreign Language (English)” successfully submitted their projects successfully: Vladislav Paznyuak (Year 1, Group 1), Olga Streltsova (Year 2, Group 1), Vladimir Savostenya (Year 3, Group 1).

At the end of the ceremony Vladimir Kuznich, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, presented several romances by Alexandr Pushkin.
