ACADEMIC CONTEST IN ELEMENTARY INFORMATICS

MSPU students from Physics and Engineering Faculty took part in the academic contest “Educational information technologies, Informatics, Software development, Robot engineering” in the section “Elementary Informatics” on May 23, 2022. The contest was held at the premises of the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Technologies of Ural State Pedagogical University (Ekaterinburg). 63 students from 8 Russian and Belarusian Pedagogical Universities participated in the contest.

HOW TO PREVENT ILLEGAL DRUG TURNOVER: LEGAL ASPECTS

S.V.Korol, a representative from the Drug and Human Trafficking Unit, Mozyr Local Department of Internal Affairs, met MSPU students on June 02, 2022 with the aim to lecture on the topical issues of illegal drug turnover and preventive campaigns which were held in Mozyr district. MSPU students were informed about the infringement of law while keeping and disseminating the drugs.

FIRST CAREER STEPS

3 rd year students majoring in “History and Social Sciences” took part in the final conference devoted to the practical training on June 02, 2022. Elena Sazanchuck, Head of the Practical Training Unit, and Methodology teachers from the Department of History and Social Sciences, took part in the conference as well. The Department of History and Social Sciences has close cooperation links with the establishments of general secondary education i.e. State Educational Establishment “Upper secondary school in Kalinkovichi”, State Educational Establishment “Secondary School № 12 in Mozyr”, State Educational Establishment “Secondary School № 7 in Mozyr”.

STATE ANTI-TOBACCO CAMPAIGN “BELARUS IS AGAINST TOBACCO”

The representatives of MSPU Social Service Center, Mozyr State Medical College and Mozyr Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology arranged a social campaign “Smoking? No!” on May 31, 2022. The campaign was devoted to the International Anti-Tobacco Day. The main objective of the campaign was to prevent the students from smoking and to inform them that smoking was a harmful thing for everybody’s health. MSPU students were offered to give a cigarette and take a candy back.

MSPU STUDENTS VISITED MOZYR DRAMA THEARTRE

Mozyr Drama Theater is a local cultural center in Mozyr. Teens and adults enjoy the performances prepared by the stage actors. MSPU students who participated in the Student Pedagogical Theatre “Person” met Tatsiana Ivanova, Head of Literature and Drama Department, who told the students about the daily life of the theatre. The students got a lucky chance to walk around the theatre and enjoy the atmosphere of a calm but magnificent place. MSPU students visited the dressing rooms, the costume rooms and came to the stage. The students talked to Roman Tsyrkin, theatre director, who spoke about the way how any performance was carried out. MSPU students were deeply impressed by everything they saw and everybody they talked to!
